Happy Birds — “Wplus”

Hello everyone!

I am stopping by for a quick minute to share a new card with you today.

Happy Birds

Happy Birds

How can you not smile when you look at these cuties.

Using dies from Wplus9, Lawn Fawn and Craftin Desert Divas I cut all of my layers and sentiment.  I then stamped the birds and a piece of white card stock and colored them with Copic  markers.  After coloring the birds I cut them out using my Brother Scan and Cut.  I assembled all of the layer and Adhered the birds and sentiment with foam squares.  I then adhered all of it on a black card base.

Here is a closer look at the card.

Hello!

I am in love with this Peeps stamp set.  I just can’t get enough.

Today I have this gift bag for you using a die from Lawn Fawn.  I cut and assembled the gift bag.  I then stamped and colored my Peeps and the frame from Lawn Fawn.  I adhered the Peeps to the frame and then adhered the frame to the gift bag.  I finally stamped my sentiment and adhered it to the bag handle.  I finished with some enamel dots.

happy Easter featuring Lawn Fawn

Hello!

I am just stopping in for a quick card to share today.

I colored the images from the Lawn Fawn stamp and die set called Eggstra Special Easter during The Daily Markers 30 day color challenge this past February.

So I thought I would put them to good use and make a card.

I have all of the products listed below except the Copic markers that I used.  Unfortunately I don’t remember the exact colors that I used.

To make this card I die cut several of the rectangles from W plus 9 and Lawn Fawn dies.  I then die cut the grass and clouds.  I stamped my sentiment on the clouds and adhered the pieces together.  That’s it really simple.

The only thing that took some time was the coloring and that only took about 15 minutes.

Peeps Filled Marshmallow Hugs

Peeps Filled Marshmallow Hugs

Easy, Easy, Easy card to make.

I picked some glitter paper from a pad I had in three different colors and die cut one big peep and two small peeps.  I also die cut a circle and a rectangle from the gingham paper.  I then took the Lawn Fawn puffy cloud border die and die cut the rectangle on an angle.  I stamped my sentiment and adhered all of them pieces to the card.  To finish I add glittery enamel dots to the tails and around the card.

How cute is this? Peeps stamps and dies OMG!  Can’t get anymore Easter then that.

To make this card all I did was stamp the outline of the peeps and then the solid color and die cut them out.  I die cut two tags, one in white and one in pink.  I the used the Gingham background on the white tag.  I adhered them together off set.  I then die cut the background paper with a Lawn Fawn rectangle die and adhered it all together.  To finish I add these adorable Doodlebug glitter sprinkles and Wink of Stella on the Peeps.

I stamped the images from the Lawn Fawn “Loads of Fun” stamp set on a piece of white card stock and colored the images with Copic markers.  I die cut the polka dot paper with the largest stitched rectangle and a white piece of card stock with the third largest rectangle.  I inked the edges of the white card stock with tumble glass distress ink and an ink blending tool.  I stamped my sentiment in the upper left corner and arranged the images on the inked piece.  I adhered them with tape runner and foam tape for dimension. Then I adhered it to the polka dot paper with foam tape and to the card base with tape runner.

To finish the card I added clear droplets to the bubbles, buttons and scattered around.

Smile! (Featuring Simon Says Stamp)

Hello!

I am back with a new card to share with you today.

This card was made with the new Simon Says Stamp Spring Flowers stamp set.  Simon Says Stamp was very kind and sent this stamp set.  It is a beautifully whimsy stamp set that I can see using for many years.

Lets get started.

I stared this card by stamping a bunch of the flowers random on the water-color card stock with VersaMark ink and adding the white embossing powder then melted it with a heat gun.  I water colored the flowers with inexpensive water colors.  I was not being careful to stay in the lines.

On some white card stock I stamped the stem, leaves and flower head using the Misti tool.  Took it to my Brother Scan and Cut and cut it out. I traced around the flower on black card stock and cut it out, this will be the shadow behind the flower.  I die cut the Smile from white and black card stock.  I also die cut the water-color piece with a postage stamp edge rectangle die.  Finally I adhered everything together and added it to a black card base cut to a standard A2 card size.

This new Tote Bag die is so cute and very handy for many occasions.

To assemble the die you have to die cut it twice.  Fold on the score line and adhere together.  Very easy to do.

For the stamped image, I did some masking.  First I stamped the paint brush and the masked it.  I then stamped the egg and chick.  It is always fun to remove the mask and see what you created.  After I color the chick and brush with Copic marker and masked of the whole thing except the egg.  I then splattered some ink on the egg to make it look colored.  I then took the image to my Brother Scan and Cut and cut it out.  For the background I stamped the grass and did some ink blending with Distress inks.  I then stamped my sentiment and adhered it together.

Here are the product the I used to make this project.

I am very happy that you joined me today and I hope to see you again very soon!
Hugs,
Holly
