Happy Birds — “Wplus”

Hello everyone!

I am stopping by for a quick minute to share a new card with you today.

Happy Birds

Happy Birds

How can you not smile when you look at these cuties.

Using dies from Wplus9, Lawn Fawn and Craftin Desert Divas I cut all of my layers and sentiment.  I then stamped the birds and a piece of white card stock and colored them with Copic  markers.  After coloring the birds I cut them out using my Brother Scan and Cut.  I assembled all of the layer and Adhered the birds and sentiment with foam squares.  I then adhered all of it on a black card base.

happy Easter featuring Lawn Fawn

I am just stopping in for a quick card to share today.

I colored the images from the Lawn Fawn stamp and die set called Eggstra Special Easter during The Daily Markers 30 day color challenge this past February.

So I thought I would put them to good use and make a card.

I have all of the products listed below except the Copic markers that I used.  Unfortunately I don’t remember the exact colors that I used.

To make this card I die cut several of the rectangles from W plus 9 and Lawn Fawn dies.  I then die cut the grass and clouds.  I stamped my sentiment on the clouds and adhered the pieces together.  That’s it really simple.

The only thing that took some time was the coloring and that only took about 15 minutes.

Party like an ANIMAL!

Hello everyone!

I am back with one of my regular posts today.  I have this adorable stamp set from Wplu9 called Party Animal and it features two adorable giraffes and I believe it is a companion set to the Unforgettable set that was in their last release.  If it isn’t I apologize and it should be.  Lol

This a fairly simple card.  This is also the first time that I used the Zig clean color real brush markers.  I found them pretty easy to work with.  This is my first attempt and thought it turned out pretty good.  I am sure that I will improve with practice just like anything new.  I would also recommend them but don’t feel that you need a large set of them.  You can blend them with water and from just one or two markers achieve a good shadow and light area.  They also blend quit well with no water and can be added to wet paper.

These two stamp set work very well together and are both adorable.

Sending a little Sunshine you way!

Hi there everyone!

I have a sunshine card for you today.  I am using the Wplus9 sunshine layers die today.  Let’s get started.

I started with an A2 size top folding card base.  I die cut the pattern paper with the scalloped rectangle and the white piece with the smaller rectangle.  I inked up the starburst background stamp with light yellow ink and places the white rectangle over it then rubbed the back to transfer the ink.  I then die cut the sun, clouds, and sunshine three times ( 2 white and 1 pattern paper).  I adhered all of the sunshines together, stacking them one on top of the other.  I then adhered it to the card using liquid glue.  I stamped my sentiment and adhered the clouds and sun with foam squares and tape runner.  I stamped, colored and fussy cut the Bee out and adhered it to the card with foam squares.  Finally I adhered the smaller rectangle to the pattern rectangle with foam squares and then to the card base with tape runner.

Hope your birthday is UNFORGETTABLE!

Hi there everyone!

I have a birthday card for you today.  I used Wplus9’s adorable elephants all over this card.  I can’t get enough of these elephants.  I just keep reaching for them over and over again.

Here we go!

I started with an A2 top folding card base.  I then picked a pattern paper that I liked and die cut it using the scalloped stitch rectangle from Wplus9, I also die cut a piece of white card stock with the smaller rectangle for the same set.  I stamped all of the elephants, bunny, and cupcake wrapper and colored them with copic markers (the list of colors that I used are below in the product list) and die cut them out with their matching dies.  I die cut the cupcake frosting in the white rectangle.  I added a window sheet over the opening adhering it with tape runner.  I added foam tape all around the opening and poured seed bead in the well.  I also added foam tape all over the back of the rectangle and adhered it to the pink scalloped rectangle.  I adhered the elephants and cupcake wrapper with tape runner and cut off what hung over the white rectangle.  I stamped the sentiment and then added the bunny above it with tape runner.  Finally I added the enamel dots to finish.

Happy Birthday!

Hello Everyone,

Welcome back if this is your first visit and welcome to those of you the are a regular visitor.  Today I have a Happy Birthday card for you.  If you are like me, you can not have enough birthday cards.  I go through them so fast.

Here is today’s card:

I knew that I wanted a pink card base.  My next step was to figure out a patterned paper but I couldn’t find one that suited me for this card.  I other options was to create my own and that was what I did.  I stamped all of the little elements from the stamp set in three different colors randomly on the white layer that I was using.  I then die cut the white layer and die cut a circle toward the bottom right side.  I also die cut the Happy Birthday sentiment two times from white card stock and once from pattern paper scrap I had with a pink stripe.  I glue the sentiment stacking as I went with the patterned one on top of course.  I stamped my elephant and colored him with copic marker and die cut him out.  I adhered the elephant coming out of the hole and taped him on the back to hold him there.  I adhered the Happy Birthday on any angle to the white layer.  I adhered the white layer to the pink card base with foam tape.  The card is finished.

I am very glad that you stopped by for a visit and hope that you return with to see the next card.
See you on Saturday with a new card to share.

Hello everyone!

Today’s card was a challenge I made for myself.  I challenged myself to make a card without any stamping on it and to use only one die set.  Well with this new die set form Wplus9 this challenge was quit easy.

Here it is:

I used a standard size card with a top fold in a sunny yellow color and then I die cut every element in the set.  I die cut the sun two times and the sunshine sentiment two times in white and once in the same sunny yellow card stock. I then laid the elements onto the white layer above and below the vellum in a pleasing manner and adhered down. To finish I added some sequins.

I hope that this card gave you some inspiration and see you can make a card with not very many supplies.
See you on Thursday with a new card to share.
