Peep Filled Marshmallow Hugs featuring Simon Says Stamp

I am back with another card from this awesome Simon Says Stamp card kit.

Let’s get started.

Peeps Filled Marshmallow Hugs

Peeps Filled Marshmallow Hugs

Easy, Easy, Easy card to make.

I picked some glitter paper from a pad I had in three different colors and die cut one big peep and two small peeps.  I also die cut a circle and a rectangle from the gingham paper.  I then took the Lawn Fawn puffy cloud border die and die cut the rectangle on an angle.  I stamped my sentiment and adhered all of them pieces to the card.  To finish I add glittery enamel dots to the tails and around the card.

Smile! (Featuring Simon Says Stamp)

I am back with a new card to share with you today.

This card was made with the new Simon Says Stamp Spring Flowers stamp set.  Simon Says Stamp was very kind and sent this stamp set.  It is a beautifully whimsy stamp set that I can see using for many years.

Lets get started.

I stared this card by stamping a bunch of the flowers random on the water-color card stock with VersaMark ink and adding the white embossing powder then melted it with a heat gun.  I water colored the flowers with inexpensive water colors.  I was not being careful to stay in the lines.

On some white card stock I stamped the stem, leaves and flower head using the Misti tool.  Took it to my Brother Scan and Cut and cut it out. I traced around the flower on black card stock and cut it out, this will be the shadow behind the flower.  I die cut the Smile from white and black card stock.  I also die cut the water-color piece with a postage stamp edge rectangle die.  Finally I adhered everything together and added it to a black card base cut to a standard A2 card size.

Yappy Birthday

Hello crafty friends!

I am here sharing a card that I made for my wonderful husband for his birthday this past weekend.

We have to Black Labs and thought that adding them to a card would be great and a little easier to make because as you know, it is difficult to make masculine cards.  At least for me it is.

I had to put this card together fast because I forgot to make him a card Duh!  I know that I make cards all of the time but it just slipped my mind.  Anyway I got it done in time and he didn’t know that I forgot.  SHHHH!

I stamped and colored the images with Copic marker and die cut them out.  I die cut my layering papers and adhered everything to the card with tape runner and foam tape.

No sparkle and  no shine, just puppies and a cupcake.

He loved the card.

Here is a closer look at the card.

Well I hope that you enjoyed this card and I will see you soon with a new card to share.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit during you busy day.

Yappy Birthday!

Hello everyone!

I am back as promised with the other card from this new stamp set from Mama Elephant.  It is another interactive card.  I made a shaker this time around.

To make this card, I stamped all of the images and colored them with Copic marker.  I then die cut them out and also the window in my layer of pattern paper.  I attached a piece of window sheet and foam tape all the way around to opening, not leaving any opening between the foam strips so that none of the shaker pieces will fall out.  Before I added the shaker pieces I adhered two of the puppies to the inside of the window and stamped and heat embossed my sentiment.  I adhered the puppies so they don’t move when you shake the card.  I then added the shaker pieces to the middle and carefully adhered the window to the card base.  I finally adhered the other puppy to the outside of the window with his food bowl, ball and newspaper.

Hello everyone!

I have some really cute cards for you this week.  This week is all about the new stamp set from Mama Elephant called Playful Pups.  I had to get this set, I love dogs and this was right up my alley.

Well, here we go!

I made a spinner card so that the puppy could chase his ball.  I do this by cutting a slit in the card as shown above and attaching a penny with a foam square to the image and carefully inserting it into the slit.  To make the rest of the card, I die cut the tree, hill and bird from pattern paper and assemble as above.  Easy Peasy!

Sending a little Sunshine you way!

Hi there everyone!

I have a sunshine card for you today.  I am using the Wplus9 sunshine layers die today.  Let’s get started.

I started with an A2 size top folding card base.  I die cut the pattern paper with the scalloped rectangle and the white piece with the smaller rectangle.  I inked up the starburst background stamp with light yellow ink and places the white rectangle over it then rubbed the back to transfer the ink.  I then die cut the sun, clouds, and sunshine three times ( 2 white and 1 pattern paper).  I adhered all of the sunshines together, stacking them one on top of the other.  I then adhered it to the card using liquid glue.  I stamped my sentiment and adhered the clouds and sun with foam squares and tape runner.  I stamped, colored and fussy cut the Bee out and adhered it to the card with foam squares.  Finally I adhered the smaller rectangle to the pattern rectangle with foam squares and then to the card base with tape runner.
