Happy Birds — “Wplus”

Hello everyone!

I am stopping by for a quick minute to share a new card with you today.

Happy Birds

Happy Birds

How can you not smile when you look at these cuties.

Using dies from Wplus9, Lawn Fawn and Craftin Desert Divas I cut all of my layers and sentiment.  I then stamped the birds and a piece of white card stock and colored them with Copic  markers.  After coloring the birds I cut them out using my Brother Scan and Cut.  I assembled all of the layer and Adhered the birds and sentiment with foam squares.  I then adhered all of it on a black card base.

Here is a closer look at the card.

I stamped the images from the Lawn Fawn “Loads of Fun” stamp set on a piece of white card stock and colored the images with Copic markers.  I die cut the polka dot paper with the largest stitched rectangle and a white piece of card stock with the third largest rectangle.  I inked the edges of the white card stock with tumble glass distress ink and an ink blending tool.  I stamped my sentiment in the upper left corner and arranged the images on the inked piece.  I adhered them with tape runner and foam tape for dimension. Then I adhered it to the polka dot paper with foam tape and to the card base with tape runner.

To finish the card I added clear droplets to the bubbles, buttons and scattered around.

Chirpy-Chip-Chirp! featuring Lawn Fawn

Long time no see.

My term with Crafting Desert Divas is over and I took a little break from crafting.

I am very glad to be back and making some fun cards to share with you.  With all of the new releases from all of my favorite stamp companies I had to jump right in.  Break over lol.

I am loving the new Lawn Fawn release.  As always everything is adorable.  No one can do cute like Lawn Fawn.

Lets get started.

This new Tote Bag die is so cute and very handy for many occasions.

To assemble the die you have to die cut it twice.  Fold on the score line and adhere together.  Very easy to do.

For the stamped image, I did some masking.  First I stamped the paint brush and the masked it.  I then stamped the egg and chick.  It is always fun to remove the mask and see what you created.  After I color the chick and brush with Copic marker and masked of the whole thing except the egg.  I then splattered some ink on the egg to make it look colored.  I then took the image to my Brother Scan and Cut and cut it out.  For the background I stamped the grass and did some ink blending with Distress inks.  I then stamped my sentiment and adhered it together.

Here are the product the I used to make this project.

I am very happy that you joined me today and I hope to see you again very soon!

Happy Summer!

Hello everyone!

I have a fun summer card for you today.  Flip flops, sand bucket and a crab.

You can never have enough flip-flops in my opinion lol.

I started by stamping the flip-flops on the back ground with two shades of gray ink.  I then stamped my sentiment in the darkest gray ink.  I die cut the squares and then stamp the images and colored them.  I die cut them out and adhered them in the squares and my card was finished.

Coffee Lovers Spring Blog Hop!

Hello everyone!

I have a fun card to share today that is also in the Coffee Lovers Spring Bloghop.  It is a fun hop with tons of prizes to win.  Come on over and join in the fun!  The link is below.

This is the card that I linked to the hop:

I just happened that my Simon Says Stamp March card kit arrived when I went to make this card so I used the papers and die from the kit to create this card.

This card is a A2 size with a top fold.  I die cut the plaid paper to fit the front of the card but slightly small because I wanted to add the black card stock to the right and under the circle on the bottom of the layer.  I die cut the circle on the bottom from the die that came in the kit.  I also found a journaling card in the kit that I thought would work well and fussy cut the sentiment out.  I then stamped the coffee cup, plates and donut and using Copic markers colored them in. I then die cut them out with the matching dies.  To finish the card I added some wooden dots

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello everyone!  Happy Valentine’s Day!   I hope your weekend is going well!  I am here today with a very different card from my usual.  This card was really outside the box for me.  I am trying to do something different every once in a while.

I hope you like it!  Here we go.

I started by die cutting the layer that I will stamp Tilda on with the stitched rectangle die, then I stamped Tilda and let her dry for a few minutes.  I colored her with various colors of copic markers (be kind I am just learning).  I know she isn’t perfect but its a start.  I received some copic markers for Christmas am learning how they work.  I don’t think its to bad for my first try.  Next I found a patterned paper that went well with the colors that I used to color her clothes.  I then added a scrap of ribbon that I think I got at Michael’s to the left side and adhered Tilda to the pattered paper with foam squares, then to the white card base also with foam squares.  I need a sentiment now and nothing that I tried worked for me so I die cut four Love’s from Lawn Fawn and adhered them one on top of the other.  It still wasn’t quit right so I added glossy accent to the love to make it shine, although it is really hard to pick up the shine in the photo.  Now I am happy.

Here is a closer look.
