I am back with another card from this awesome Simon Says Stamp card kit.

Let’s get started.

Peeps Filled Marshmallow Hugs

Peeps Filled Marshmallow Hugs

Easy, Easy, Easy card to make.

I picked some glitter paper from a pad I had in three different colors and die cut one big peep and two small peeps.  I also die cut a circle and a rectangle from the gingham paper.  I then took the Lawn Fawn puffy cloud border die and die cut the rectangle on an angle.  I stamped my sentiment and adhered all of them pieces to the card.  To finish I add glittery enamel dots to the tails and around the card.

This card was made with the Simon Says Stamp March 2016 card kit and just a few other supplies.

Lets get started.

How cute is this? Peeps stamps and dies OMG!  Can’t get anymore Easter then that.

To make this card all I did was stamp the outline of the peeps and then the solid color and die cut them out.  I die cut two tags, one in white and one in pink.  I the used the Gingham background on the white tag.  I adhered them together off set.  I then die cut the background paper with a Lawn Fawn rectangle die and adhered it all together.  To finish I add these adorable Doodlebug glitter sprinkles and Wink of Stella on the Peeps.

Smile! (Featuring Simon Says Stamp)

I am back with a new card to share with you today.

This card was made with the new Simon Says Stamp Spring Flowers stamp set.  Simon Says Stamp was very kind and sent this stamp set.  It is a beautifully whimsy stamp set that I can see using for many years.

Lets get started.

I stared this card by stamping a bunch of the flowers random on the water-color card stock with VersaMark ink and adding the white embossing powder then melted it with a heat gun.  I water colored the flowers with inexpensive water colors.  I was not being careful to stay in the lines.

On some white card stock I stamped the stem, leaves and flower head using the Misti tool.  Took it to my Brother Scan and Cut and cut it out. I traced around the flower on black card stock and cut it out, this will be the shadow behind the flower.  I die cut the Smile from white and black card stock.  I also die cut the water-color piece with a postage stamp edge rectangle die.  Finally I adhered everything together and added it to a black card base cut to a standard A2 card size.

For a Purrfect Student using Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember goodies!

Hello everyone!

I hope that you holiday weekend in the USA was terrific!  I enjoyed mine very much.  Spent the weekend on the boat with good friends and had a blast.   I am very sorry to see the summer end though.  We had a very slow start to the summer but about July the summer kicked in and as of today is still going strong.

I have a really cute kitty card for you today using the Simon Says Stamp #STAMPtember Back To School release stamp set.

Simon Says Stamp Stamptember release

I started this card by finding some school related paper for my layering piece.  I found the ruler paper which was purrfect for what I had in mind.  I then die cut the two tags in the light blue and red. I stamped the kitty and ruler onto some white card stock on colored them with my Copic markers.  I don’t have the dies to this set so I had to fussy cut them out but they were pretty easy images so I had to problem.  I then stamp my sentiment and added the images with foam squares.  I also added foam squares under the blue tag for some dimension.  Before I adhered the tags I added the red and white twine to the two tags and added some white dots on the cheeks of the kitty.  I adhered them to the layer paper and then to the red card base. Finally I added some sequins scatter around the card.

I just love how this card turned out.

I hope that you enjoyed this card as much as I did.  I think it is just purrfect.  LOL
See you soon and thanks for stopping by for a visit.
Lots of hugs,

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release 2015

Hello my crafty friends!

I am back hopefully with some regularity now.

I have missed everyone tons and am glad to be starting to get back to a regular schedule again.

If you follow me on Instagram you will already know that Simon Says Stamp graciously sent me three items from the STAMPtember release before it was released.

I would like to thank Simon Says Stamp and Heidi Crowl for being so kind.

Here is the first card that I made using two of the items that I received.

I had know idea that yellow was a very difficult color to photograph.

To make this card, I stamped and white heat embossed the school bus from the Back to School stamp set in a random pattern on the background of the card base.  I also stamped the bus on a piece of scrap white card stock.  On this bus, I colored it with the Zig clean color real brush pens.  I used black, grey, light blue and yellow.  When the bus was dry I fussy cut it out.  I also stamp and colored and fussy cut two clouds from the stamp set.  I cut a strip of black card stock and with a white gel pen added a white dash line down the middle to make a road for the bus to ride on.  I adhered all of the pieces with foam squares to the front of the card and then die cut my letters using the Alphabet Block die.  I adhered the letter with liquid glue.

See what I mean about the yellow compared to the previous photo.  Just driving me mad.  I retook this photo 8 times and this as close as I could get with the colors.

This feels really good to be back creating on a daily basis again.

I hope that you enjoyed this card and the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release.
I will see you soon!

Simon Says Stamp “Splash of Color”

Hello everyone!

I am here today showcasing one of the Simon Says Stamp “Splash of Color” release stamp sets.  It is called Sail Away.  I was very honored to receive a sneak peek of the release and totally surprised when it just showed up in my mail box.  Thank you Simon Says Stamp.  Talk about happy mail!

Here is the card that I made:

I stamped the craft card stock with images in the stamp set using rich cocoa ink and then set it aside.  I stamped the sail boat three times.  One on red card stock, one on the red stars pattern paper from the SSS July card kit and once on white card stock.  I fussy cut the sails and flag and the bottom of the boat.  I also cut out the whole boat leaving a small white border.  I then adhered the sails and bottom on the white card stock stamp image.  I added glossy accents to the flag and the base of the sail boat.  I stamped the sentiment and die cut it out.  I also die cut the tag  and the reinforcer from some pattern paper also from the SSS July card kit. I adhered all of the pieces together with foam tape.  To finish I adhered the red, silver and blue sequins with glossy accents and the star and twine to the hole in the top of the tag from the SSS July card kit.

Here is a closer look at the card:

The sentiment reads: “She stood in the storm & when the wind did not blow her way, she adjusted her sails”  I love this sentiment.

I couldn’t add this stamp set to the Inlinkz because when I wrote this post it was not available yet.  You can find this stamp set and all of the new product in the “Splash of color” release by clicking HERE.

Here are the rest of the goodies used to make this card:

Thank you for joining me today and I hope that you head on over to Simon Says Stamp and check out the new release.
See you soon,
