Happy Birds — “Wplus”

Hello everyone!

I am stopping by for a quick minute to share a new card with you today.

Happy Birds

Happy Birds

How can you not smile when you look at these cuties.

Using dies from Wplus9, Lawn Fawn and Craftin Desert Divas I cut all of my layers and sentiment.  I then stamped the birds and a piece of white card stock and colored them with Copic  markers.  After coloring the birds I cut them out using my Brother Scan and Cut.  I assembled all of the layer and Adhered the birds and sentiment with foam squares.  I then adhered all of it on a black card base.

Here is a closer look at the card.

Smile!

Hello everyone!

I am back with a new card using the Simon Says Stamp June card kit.  I told you I love this kit.  It is just a happy and fun summer kit.  Let’s get started!

This card is just a bunch a circle die cut from the card panel or added to the panel.  Some of them are popped up and some are not.  I also die cut the smile two times and added to the circle and I also used the positive of the die cut on one circle for interest.  I finished by adding the enamel dot and the flower from the kit.  Sorry that I don’t have a better explanation for you but it was kind of hard to describe the process for this card.  You can see what I did from the pictures.  If you have a question please feel free to leave a comment or drop me an Email.

Gotta Wear Shades!

Hello everyone!

I am back with a fun summer card to share with you today.  This card was made for my husband for our anniversary which was last Sunday.  It was are 29th and I can’t believe how time flies.

This was a fairly easy card to make.  I die cut a stitched rectangle several time in three different colors of blue and the die cut the stitched slopes to mimic water from them.  I then stamped the image and colored it in with Copic markers and fussy cut it out.  I also stamped and colored the fish.  I assembled the card as shown and thought I needed a sentiment so I die cut the speech bubble and stamped the sentiment on it and added it to the upper left corner.  To finish the card I added Wink of Stella to the sunglasses and fish and black stickles to the bears noses.

My husband an I are on the water a lot in the summer so I though this is a perfect card for him. He did enjoy the card very much which makes me happy.

Here is a closer look at the card.

This card is pretty simple, there is not much to explain.  I started by stamping all of the images and then coloring them with various Copic marker (listed below).  After they were colored I die cut them out with their matching dies.  I then die cut a frame and a white panel.  I arranged them in a pleasing manner and adhered them with tape runner and foam tape.   I stamped the sentiment and adhered the frame.  I finished by putting clear Wink of Stella on the mushrooms and the snail’s shells followed by some glossy accents after adhering it to the card base.

All you need is ice cream.

Hello everyone!

Happy belated Mother’s Day to you all!

I am here is a really quick card share for you today. I have been really busy this week starting with Mother’s Day and all of its activities. Working on the backyard and planting lots and lots of flowers -Oh ya!- and the boat launched on Tuesday. Yeah well life happens sometimes.  If you would like to see what I have been up to in the yard I will have a few pictures at the end of this post.

Ok let’s get back to the card now.

I started with my card base in white, cut and scored to a standard size.  I then die cut a rectangle from white card stock and using a swiss dot embossing folder ran it through my big shot.  I die cut four more small rectangles from four different polka dot pattern paper.  I adhered all of the pieces to the card base shown above.  I also then die cut two circles in two different pattern papers from the same paper pack.  I stamped the sentiment on the smaller circle.  I also stamped, colored and fussy cut out the ice cream cone and adhered it to the circle.  I added a three little shine dots to the ice cream and then glossy accent over all of the ice cream for shine.  Finally to finish the card I scattered some enamel dot in various colors.

So here in the first picture is my husband and son taking the old deck apart.  It was attached to our pool that we removed last year.  The second picture is the new deck lowered to the ground and what is left of the pool area.  The third picture is a different view of the pool area, this is where we are putting in some pavers and a fire pit.

Thank you for taking some time out of you day and spending it with me.

I will be back next week with a new card to share.

Bye,

Hello my friend!

Hello everyone!

I am back with the second card in this easy to make week.  Like the last card this one would be great for the beginner card maker or the experienced paper crafter.  Actually this card used less supplies and was even easier the last one.

Sorry about the first picture.  It could have been a little less blurry but I didn’t realize it until I uploaded it.

This is a standard sized card.  I die cut seven of the flowers and arranged them on the card front.  I stamped on one of them and adhered it to the card.  I also die cut two leaves and stamped them and adhered them to the card.  Everything is adhered with Tombow liquid glue or foam squares.  The card is done.

And I stamped the sentiment on the inside because there wasn’t any room on the front.

I told you that it was really easy right. Lol

I hope that this card gave you some inspiration to go and make something beautiful.

Sending a little Sunshine you way!

Hi there everyone!

I have a sunshine card for you today.  I am using the Wplus9 sunshine layers die today.  Let’s get started.

IMG_1967

IMG_1968

I started with an A2 size top folding card base.  I die cut the pattern paper with the scalloped rectangle and the white piece with the smaller rectangle.  I inked up the starburst background stamp with light yellow ink and places the white rectangle over it then rubbed the back to transfer the ink.  I then die cut the sun, clouds, and sunshine three times ( 2 white and 1 pattern paper).  I adhered all of the sunshines together, stacking them one on top of the other.  I then adhered it to the card using liquid glue.  I stamped my sentiment and adhered the clouds and sun with foam squares and tape runner.  I stamped, colored and fussy cut the Bee out and adhered it to the card with foam squares.  Finally I adhered the smaller rectangle to the pattern rectangle with foam squares and then to the card base with tape runner.
