Happy Birthday

Happy Tuesday!

Today’s card is quit modern, and would be a great masculine card.  I am featuring Simon Says Stamp’s Spring release today.

This card was made into a standard A2 size with a top fold.  I taped down the card base and stencil and began inking from top to bottom with three different blue distressed inks.  The lightest on top and next lightest on the bottom with the darkest in the middle.  I then cut the vellum with the Simon Says Stamp’s Full Card Hourglass die.  Next I traced and hand cut the teal diamond shape that I would heat emboss the Happy Birthday onto.  Next I glued everything together with Tombow Mono Multi purpose glue and foam squares.  Finally I added the pearls and rhinestone.

Additional goodies used:

Michaels: Rhinestone and Pearl gems, Inking tool with foam applicator pads.

  1. Great card, I love how the vellum partially masks some areas and reveals others. Thanks for joining us for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
