Today I have a Valentines card for you. It has a bit of whimsical.

 

I think this card is adorable.  It is a standard A2 size with a side fold.  I cut a separate piece of card stock the same size as the front of the card and die cut the hearts into it.  On the cards base I added washie tape; adhering the piece with the hearts cut out onto the card base with foam squares.  I then die cut the small hearts in three different colors of card stock, and adhered them with Tombow mono-multi glue. I then stamped the greeting on to a scrap of card stock, and cut it into a banner shape; then I tied a small bow on the end.  Finally adding the pearls and enamel dots and the arrow clip and the card was finished.

Big Hello

Happy Tuesday!

I have a big Hello for you today.

 

This is a very beautiful and easy card to make, and I think anyone would love to receive this in the mail.  This is a standard A2 sized card with a top fold.  I add the doily to the upper left side and adhered with tape runner.  I added a piece of washie tape along the bottom, and cut three scraps of card stock into a some-what arrow shape and adhered them together; on to the card sticking out of the side of the doily.  I then die cut the Hello three times from three different card stock and glued them offset with tombow mono-multi-glue.  Next I cut a small slit into the top of the card to pull the ribbon through, and tied the ribbon into a bow.  Finally I adhered the Hello down with foam squares and added the pearls to the opposite corners.

Hope everyone is surviving this terrible mid-west winter. I say, just and stamp.

Today I have another card featuring Lawn Fawn.  I just love their stamps  and all the cute animals.

This is a standard A2 size card with a curve cut into the side an also in the DSP.  I die cut the elephants and the banner and adhered them down with foam squares.  Then, I found some wood veneer hearts that I colored with ink to match the card.  When the hearts were dry I arranged them into a heart shape and adhered them to the card with liquid glue.  Finally I added some enamel dots and Wink of Stella to the hearts to finish off the card.

You Are My Favorite

This week  I am featuring Lawn Fawn.  Today is the cute little nerdy birds and Thursday will be the elephants.

To make this card I cut a standard A2 size card base and rounded the opposite corners. then cut the DSP .25 inch smaller and also rounded the same corners.  I then die cut the trees, clouds, hearts, and umbrella. I then colored and die cut the birds.  I glued the trees down with liquid glue, stacked the clouds and adhered them with foam adhesive, and liquid glued the birds, umbrella and all of those tiny hearts.  Finally I added Wink of Stella in clear to all of the hearts and the card was finished.

Today I have a cute Valentines card featuring Lawn Fawn’s new Valentine stamp set called Science of Love.

 

This is a standard A2 size with a top fold card.  I cut a piece of craft card stock and stamped the wood grain, branch and sentiment in Versamark ink and heat embossed it in white.  I then used and ink pad in dark brown and colored in some of the grain and the branch.  Next I stamped and colored the bird and fox with colored pencils, and stamped and hand cut the log.  I adhered the animals to the card with foam squares and finally put the two hearts on the tree.

Happy Birthday

Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a colorful birthday card for you.

 

This card makes me feel like spring is right around the corner.  This card is a standard A2 size with a top fold.  I cut three different sizes of DSP and adhered them in descending size to the front of the card base. I then punched four pieces of card stock from colors that are in the DSP and adhered them close to the four corners.  I then punched four pieces of white card stock  and stamped the H,B,2,U and inked the edges. I adhered them to the previous punched out shapes. Finally I die cut the bow, assembled it and attached it to the middle of the card.

  

this card was fairly easy to make and brightened my day.

Todays card is a Valentines card that I made with some of the fun Christmas gifts that I received.

 

I finally got some Embossing Paste and couldn’t wait to try it. So on this card I used the Falling Hearts Stencil and the embossing paste on the card base. I set the card aside to dry.  I then die cut the Hugs and hearts.  When the card was dry I adhered everything down and I was done.

 

I really enjoy using the embossing paste  It is fun to pull that stencil off and see the beautiful pattern that is left.

Now that everyone is back into their normal routines, I will have my regular Tuesday, Thursday posts for you.

Todays card is a Thank You card that I made for a friend.  It is a very simple but elegant card.  You don’t have to have all kinds of embellishments and busyness on your card to look wonderful, it can be simple and still look beautiful.

 

This card is cut into a standard A2 size with a top fold.  Two journaling cards were die cut and the Thanks greeting was embossed vertically then adhered the journaling cards to the card base.  The bow was die cut and assembled and adhered to the journaling card.  Finally I added the gems and the card was finished.

 

The card is very simple but elegant with some glitter and shine.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, I know that my puppies did.

    

Santa was very good to Milo and Madison this year.

I hope that 2014 brings everyone good health, happiness and prosperity.

OK now let’s get back to a little bit of normal.  I have a lot of birthdays in the month of January so I will be sharing birthday cards and Valentines cards with you this month.

This card was made for a co-worker and I thought that it turned out very sweet.  It is probably one of my favorites. The card is a standard size A2 with a top fold.  I added the DSP to the card base and on a separate piece of white card stock die cut the flagged banners, and on another piece of white card stock I die cut the bow and the little tags.  I stamped the HB2U, added the washi tape, wood heart and pearls and the card was finished.
